She was predeceased by: her parents, A. F. Johnson (Bunny) and Golda Johnson (Sayles); and her son Brian (Bob). She is survived by: her daughter Gini Riggs; and her granddaughter Krystal Riggs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Always enjoying sports, Shirley loved to golf, and was a staunch supporter of the Marquette Golf and Country Club, donating much of her time to various projects.
