He is survived by: his children, Scott Smith (Nicole) of Negaunee, MI, Paul Smith Jr. of Marquette, MI, Amanda Smith of Milwaukee, WI, Derrick Smith of Marquette, MI, Joey Smith, AJ Smith of Marquette, Aaron Smith of Munising, MI, Andrew Powell of Marquette and Alex Powell of Detroit; and his sister Pam Mertes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
