Madeleine Prout Alderson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madeleine Prout Alderson of Marquette, Michigan, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Prout and Ellen Prout (Gonyon); her husband James Richard Alderson; and her brothers, Terry and Calvin Prout.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Pierce (Delbert) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Tammy Jacobs of Dallas, TX and Scott Alderson (Louise) of Dallas, TX; her niece Laurie Downs of Boise, ID; and her nephews, Christopher Prout of Corpus Christi, TX and Andrew Prout of Kalamazoo, MI. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, Room at the Inn or Masses for the repose of Madeleine's soul.
