He is survived by: his wife Mary McFarland; his children, Matthew Dawson of Jacksonville, NC and Kati Mead (David) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Brennah Dawson, Vivian Dawson and Leo Mead; his siblings, Jeffrey Dawson, Michael Dawson (Tammy) and Mari Hampton; his mother-in-law Maureen McFarland; his daughter-in-law Lori Dubois; and his father-in-law Bob McFarland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
