He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Weber and Ramona Weber (Petersen); his brother Paul; and his son Mark. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, John R. Weber, Jr. (Dana) of Birmingham, MI, Karl Weber (Peggy) of Marquette and JoAnne Garrow (Robert Plotezka) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Elie Weber, Kate Garrow, Nick Weber, Maddy Weber, Joe Weber, Anna Garrow, Grace Garrow, John Weber II and Jake Garrow; his great grandchild Willow McNish; his siblings, Richard D. Weber (Mary Ellen) and Mary Susan Chrysler (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Catherine Hollowell and Joe Tolan (Alaine). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bishop's Room at St. Peter Cathedral (311 W Baraga Ave, Marquette, MI 49855). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Cathedral (311 W Baraga Ave, Marquette, MI 49855).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice, the Lewy Body Dementia Foundation, or Trout Unlimited.
