He is survived by: his wife Deborah Klit; his children, Michele Cavin (Mark) of Marquette, Terri Lorens of Marquette, Mikki Tiziani (Scott) of Marquette, Ken Mattson of Phoenix, AZ and Carrie Goodney (Jeff) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Collin Cavin, Reece Cavin (Brooke Johnson), Trent, Taylor, Jade Lorens, Kevin Tiziani (Sofia Herrera), Jack Tiziani, Bradshaw, Kennedy Mattson, Adyson and Siena Goodney; his siblings, Leona Sakkinen (Art) of Calumet, Cindy Harju (Mike) of Negaunee and Russell Mattson (Lorraine) of Two Harbors, MN; and his brother-in-law Bill Poirier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
