He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Sarka and Ann Sarka (Laramie); his grandfather Ed Laramie; and his son Glenn Sarka. He is survived by: his wife Lula Sarka (Weiger) of Marquette; his son Daniel M. Sarka (Carolyn) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Elick and Laila; his siblings, Robert and Rosann; and also Ann.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Canale Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services (526 N 3rd St, Marquette, MI 49855).
