It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Ruth LaValley (Marquette, Michigan), who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Watters and Jennie Watters (Gjolme); her husband Wilbur LaValley; and her siblings, Jim, Russell, Clint, George, Bob Watters, Ethel Hartman, Olive Huot, Katherine Anderson and Betty McEachern.
She is survived by: her children, Bill LaValley (Jan), Joan Erickson (Klaus Buschalla), Jean Lawless (Larry), Gary LaValley (Becky) and Dennis LaValley; and her nieces, Carol Farmer and Linda Desormier. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canale Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services (526 N 3rd St, Marquette, MI 49855). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
