He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J Veale and Rachel M Thompson Veale; and his brothers, Robert T Veale and William J Veale (Doris). He is survived by: his wife Bessie Luke Veale; his son Greg Veale; and his sister-in-law Ada Veale. He is also survived by many cousins and nephews.
