It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DDS Michael Ty Orhanen (Marquette, Michigan), who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Peter Orhanen. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Hewitt (Robert) of Marquette and Jon Orhanen (Binky) of Gladstone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (305 W Magnetic St, Marquette, MI 49855). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 5:15 PM at the American Legion - Richard Jopling (700 W Bluff St, Marquette, MI 49855).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
