With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carl August Rose in Marquette, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie B. Rose and Una Mae Rose (Johnson); and his siblings, Gregory, Dr. A. Leslie Rose and Diane Rose-Canali.

He is survived by: his children, Casey Rose (Leslie) of Marquette and Carrie Audette (Dan) of Marquette; his grandchildren, Cody DesJardins, Kyle Rose, McKenzie Eyler (Jack), Riley DesJardins, Logan Audette and Brady Audette; and his brother Dr. Eric Rose (Valerie Rose) of Marquette.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, 815 South M-553, Gwinn, MI 49841 or the Trillium House, 1144 Northland Dr, Marquette, MI 49855.
