It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Vretenar of Marquette, Michigan, born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Maus and Carol Maus (Struve); her son Robbie Vretenar; her husband Jack Vretenar; and her siblings, Deb DuPont, Jane Chivers, Susan Maus, Vicky Imhoff (Bob), Donald Maus and Wesley "Bud" Maus.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Maus (Dan Krzywosinski) and Johnny Vretenar (Leanne Fadroski); her grandchildren, Tyler Vretenar, Emily Vretenar, Amanda Vretenar, Morgan Vretenar, Noah Vretenar, Brown of Nevada, Ruth Tippett, Alexa Henden and Mya Henden; her siblings, Ruth Hannon (Bob), Peggy Rivard (Lloyd), Carol Ann Lindbom (Jeff), Mike Maus, Wally Maus and Charles Bottrell (Jane); and her siblings-in-law, Bob DuPont, Dennis Bowers and Joan Kranz. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home (S218 US Hwy 41, Stephenson, MI 49887). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
