He was predeceased by: his wife Henrietta Hapon; his son James Hapon; and his granddaughter Sarah Hapon. He is survived by: his children, Ed Hapon (Deb), Christine Ryan, Diane Clark, Janet Speigl (Philip), Dorothy Zemaitis (Ken), Teresa Roorda (Ken) and Linda Hapon; and his sisters-in-law, Bernadette Hapner (Dale) and Alicia Laansma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
