She was predeceased by: her husband Donald L. Wiest; her children, Douglas D. Wiest and Dorothy McClenathan; and her grandson Tyler A. R. Wiest. She is survived by: her children, Donald E. Wiest (Melissa), David P. Wiest (Deborah), Dale R. Wiest, Duane A. Wiest (Bonnie), Daniel S. Wiest (Judy), Dennis J. Wiest (Jeanne), Dean M. Wiest and Debra S. Wood (Jim); her sister Mary Norton; and her son-in-law Mark A. McClenathan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Make-A-Wish Michigan or the Helen DeVos Children's Foundation.
