She is survived by: her children, Patricia Shaver, Carl Shaver, Scott Thomasma, Linda Thomasma, Eric Thomasma, Therese Thomasma, Lanin Thomasma and Jeanne Thomasma; her grandchildren, Eric Jr., Nicole Thomasma, Ellen Krasin, Rich Krasin, Nicholas Thomasma, Linda Shaver-Gleason, Christopher Gleason, Janneke Rodgers, Brandon Rodgers and Stefanie Thomasma; and her brother Edward Carstens Jr. (Elaine Madsen-Carstens). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
