He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Warren Bachschmidt and Claudine Bachschmidt; his wife Connie Stirrett; his children, Beth Russell (Jon) and Daniel Bachschmidt; his granddaughters, Faith Lipka (Frank), Grace Russell and Emily Russell; and his siblings, Gary Bachschmidt (Natalie), Mark Bachschmidt, Nancy Hood (Tom), Patricia, Peggy Bachschmidt and Karen Slivka.
