He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wood and Alice Wood (McDonald); his wife Kathleen Roberts; and his siblings, William (Wood) and Betty Schultz.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley (Melissa Roberts), Anne (Nick Chape) and William Wood (Christy Zechmeister) of Akron; his grandchildren, Sara (Noah Sharf), Amanda Roberts of Mayville, Kyle Jordan of Deford, Austin Snell of Vassar, Zachary Snell of Vassar, Audrey Wood of Akron and Abby Wood of Akron; and his great grandchild Logan Sharf of Bay City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
