He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Burkett and Frances Burkett; and his brother Stephen Burkett. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Conner of Cass City; his children, Jeremy Burkett (Jessica) of Baltimore, Maryland and Carissa Burkett (Mike Mihalas) of Portland, Oregon; his brothers, David Burkett (Julie) of Franklin, Pennsylvania and Mark Burkett (Sandy) of Columbia City, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Karen Kaetzel (Jonathan) of Guernsey, Wyoming. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and nephews.
