Nora D David Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nora D David of Marlette, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Beach and Iva Beach (Streeter); her spouses, Clare E Hudson and Chester O David; her son Clare J Hudson; her sons-in-law, Michael Galloway and Emmett Grifka; her grandsons, Timothy Galloway, Jeffrey Hudson and Duane Clapsaddle; her stepgrandsons, Martin Grifka and Kade Schmitt; her great grandchild Kaitlin Clapsaddle; and her siblings, Archie Beach, Charley Beach, Edith Dantzer, Iva May Herbers and Ellen Benjamin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Edwina D Hudson, Dona M Grifka and Donella Buniack (Andrew); her daughter-in-law Brenda Hudson; her stepchildren, Doris Priest (Roger), Daniel David (Sandy) and Doyle David (Kathy); her sister Doris Maynard; and her sister-in-law Marion Beach. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 26 great great grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 25 step great grandchildren; 18 step great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel (2675 Main St, Marlette, MI 48453). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her honor to Marlette Hospice Services reflecting her generous and caring nature.
