He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Haynes and Della Haynes (Lisenby); his son Jeffrey Haynes; his parents-in-law, Donald and Donna Petersen (Boag); his stepfather-in-law Henry Miller; his brother-in-law Jerry Petersen; his nephew Robert Haynes; and his great-niece Isabelle Moustakas.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Haynes (Petersen); his daughter Kristen Kiley (Jason); his grandchildren, Alex, Graham and Laine Kiley; his brother Kenneth "Gene" Haynes; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Dieckmann (Jim), Cyndie Walstra (Scott), Sue Petersen and Judy Drago. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
