He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Ross and Naomi Ross (Helming); his wife Sylvia Ross; and his sister Jill Morrell. He is survived by: his children, Melvin J Ross Jr. and Bebe Lawless (Mike); and his siblings, Andy Ross (Linda), Mary Dettwiler (Bob), Rex Ross (Jane), Janet Bloor (John), Nancy Foster (Randy), Melanie Ross (Alice) and Rose Gomes (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
