He is survived by: his mother Marilynn Vanderpoel (McLaughlin); his children, Christopher Brent Vanderpoel and Brittany Kristine Pabst (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jensen, Greyson and Harper; his stepchildren, Shane Michael Fry (Brandi) and Andrea Lynn Hoig (Michael); and his siblings, Richard Vanderpoel (Jane), Katherine Nichols (Bill), Jacqueline Forbes (Scott) and Brian Vanderpoel (Lori).
