We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Jackie Reid of Marlette, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Hendry and Lenora Hendry (Buckingham); her grandson Kyle Hall; and her siblings, Lloyd Hendry, Marilyn Thorne and Audrey Krull.
She is survived by: her children, Traci Horgan (T. J.), T. R. Reid (Dawn) and Tammi Hall (Mike); her grandchildren, Andrew Horgan (Julia), Colin Horgan (Kara), Adam Reid, Carter Reid (Emma), Derek Hall, Kelsey Kroenung (Patrick) and Dakota Hall (Monica); and her great grandchildren, Conor Horgan, Maeve Horgan and Kai Kroenung. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Terry and Jackie Reid Scholarship, which is awarded annually to new Marlette High School graduates who have been leaders and role models through athletics and academics. The scholarship is managed and administered by the Sanilac County Community Foundation, which is based at 42 Austin St. in Sandusky.
