With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Whiteside (Marlette, Michigan), born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on September 21, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Whiteside and Nellie Whiteside; his brother James Whiteside; and his son Roger Whiteside. He is survived by: his wife Avonne Whiteside; his children, Steve Whiteside (Denise), Brian Whiteside, Ina Rodgers, Judy Carpenter (Jim), Shelia McClellan, Brenda Mercer (Thomas) and Dinnell Cartwright; and his nephew Cody Whiteside.
