She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Petschulat and Thelma Petschulat (Yoder); her husband Frederick J. Korte Jr.; her daughter Cindy Swartz; her son-in-law Richard Swartz; and her sister Carolyn Darnell.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Korte (Gloria) and David Korte (Tracy Nguyen); her grandchildren, Austin Korte (Trinette Horner), Alexis Korte and Andre; her sister Victoria Whipple; her nephew Victor Whipple (Julie); and her nieces, Ellen Whipple and Susan Blackwell.
