He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Baxter; and his son Steven Baxter. He is survived by: his children, Mary Baxter, Donald Baxter Jr. (Mona) and Kenneth Baxter (Patricia S.); his significant other Virginia Stacy; and his son Rodney Bowens (Mary). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
