He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne B. Baer and Phyllis E. Baer (McMann); his parents-in-law, Alvin and Jane Meredith; and his sister-in-law Kelly Haag.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Meredith; his daughter Melissa Govea (Jesse); his grandson Trevor Govea; his brothers, Ralph Baer (Sondra) and Paul Baer (Cheryl); and his brother-in-law Ken Meredith (Shelly). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
