He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Nicol; his children, Keith Nicol and Carla Orton; his parents, Ernest Nicol and Mildred Nicol; his brothers-in-law, Paul Prowse and Frank McAlpine; and his niece Venae Hobson.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Nicol (Linda Typinski) and Penny Ruchgy (Jeff); his grandchildren, Ashley Nicol, Dan Nicol, Holly Zuehlke (Brandon), Heidi Peer (Glen) and Kara Joy Nicol; his great grandchildren, Carter Lee, Braeden Zuehlke, Madison Peer and Mia Peer; his children-in-law, Tom Orton and Lori Nicol; and his sister Mary Lou Prowse. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Memorial Contributions be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Marlette Fire Department.
