She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Alberta Smith (Smades); her husband Harry McDonald; her son Michael; her grandson Michael; and her siblings, Loretta McLaren, Robert Smith and David Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Harrell (Alan) of New Waverly, Elizabeth Varga (Paul) of Alanson, Sandra Gibbs (Larry) of Murchison and Steven McDonald (Shari) of Snover, Michigan; her grandchildren, Jeremy Stover (Amy), Jason Stover (Rachel), Heath McDonald and Anne Varga (Ian MacDougall); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Kaylee Stover, Logan and Alex Stover; and her siblings, Marilyn Arrington (Sam), Phil Smith (Molly), Eric Smith and Cora Oxtra. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
