It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Curtis Root of Marion, Michigan, born in Three Rivers, Michigan, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Root and Thelma Root (Modert); his brother Steven; and his brother-in-law Gerald. He is survived by: his father-in-law Gary Bandelow; his wife Heather Bandelow; his children, Darren, Nathan Root (Taylor Anderson), Jessica Deverman (Heath) and Margaret Keller (Matt); his grandchildren, Bradley, Cooper, Evan, Griffin Deverman, Landen, Emmalynn, Westen Keller, Maximus and Lillian Root; his siblings, Rhonda Schalow (Ron), Robert Jr., Terry (Deb), William (Kim), John (Jennifer) and James (Renee); his in-laws, Gary and Yvonne Bandelow; his sister-in-law Crystal Bandelow; and his nieces, Krysta, Becca and Tara.
