She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Boven (Grace) and Grace Boven (Dykhouse); her spouse Sidney Ouwinga; her children, Carl Ouwinga (Mary), Dale Ouwinga (Karen), Kathy Ouwinga-Martin and Robert Ouwinga (Susan); her grandchildren, Sara Tysman (Peter), Thomas Ouwinga (Tiffany), Rita Shaw (Freeland), Mary Post (Luke), Benjamin Ouwinga (Amy), Cassandra Nava (Manny), Tamika Martin (Manny), Sidney Martin, Chanelle Martin (Scott), Jorin Ouwinga (Gabby) and Sydney M. Ouwinga; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Meredith, Addison, Tessa, Jack, Ellie, Mabel, Jaxwell, Niema, Jericho, Jahziel, Lillian, Adam, Charlotte, Jaden of Jordan, MJ, Eleanor, Adrianna, Keyanna, Keylani and Serenity; her parents-in-law, Ardith Ouwinga, Julia VanderHeide and James DeHaan; and her siblings, Mildred Visser (Sid), Tony Boven (Gert), Dee Boven (Gert), Donald Boven, Angie VandePol (Vern), Alida Mae and Ilene DeHaan.
