He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Whitaker and Margaret Whitaker (Fowler); and his brothers, Bruce, Dale and Danny.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Harris; his children, LeRoy James Whitaker, Michele Skutt (Todd) and Adam Whitaker (Sally); and his siblings, Lynda Brantly, Wendy Reynolds, Bonnie Harris and Michael Whitaker.
