She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Berkompas and Dorothy Berkompas (Stone); and her brother Elton Berkompas (Marjorie). She is survived by: her children, Michael Pifer (Rita) of O'Fallon, MO, Cheryl Ann Andrews (Larry) of Naples, FL and Susan Mahaffie (Mike) of Mecosta, MI; her grandchildren, Shannon Shown (Ethan), Sheena Price, Justin Pifer, Jason Haelterman (Ginny), Jon Haelterman (Jenni), Ben Mahaffie (Katie) and Tommy Mahaffie (Brittany); and her brother Arnold Berkompas (Pat). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
