The memory of LaVonne Norine Pifer of Marion, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Babcock and Margaret Babcock (Bradley); her daughter Karen Bradford (Roger); her stepson Mike Pifer; and her siblings, Gordon Babcock, Howard Babcock and Nancy Persall.
She is survived by: her husband Neil Edwin Pifer; her daughters, Julie Lee and Janice Parm (Jeremy); her stepdaughters, Cheryl Andrews (Larry) and Sue Mahaffie (Mike); and her brothers, Willard Babcock (Dixie), Roger Babcock and Jack Eubank. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home (406 E Main St, Marion, MI 49665). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Quiet Creek AFC Home in Falmouth.
