He was predeceased by: his parents, Delton Bigford and Evaline Bigford; and his brother James Bigford. He is survived by: his wife Linda Davis of Lansing; his children, Tonja Slotman (Richard) of West Olive, MI, Tammy Mukkada (Manoj) of Mililani, HI, Shaine Brock (Mark) of Ashton, LeeAnna Bigford-Mozden of Cadillac, Jim Welch of Texas, Wendy Kibby (Jerry) of Sahuarita, AZ and Angela Smith (Terry) of Caldonia, MI; and his siblings, Clara M. English, Frank Bigford (Darlene) and Dewey Bigford. He is also survived by his grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
