She was predeceased by: her son David Wayne Niver; her husband Donald Niver; her parents, George Laughlin and Marj Laughlin; her parents-in-law, Basil and Frances Niver; and her siblings-in-law, John Gernaat and Barb Ryan (Niver).
She is survived by: her children, Dona Veddler (Niver) and Brian Niver (Coral); her grandchildren, Tera Veddler, Dana Stahl (Michael), BranDon Veddler and Shandel Banks (Travis); her great grandchildren, Quinton, Rosaleen Veddler and Cattelaya Banks; her caregivers, Jennifer Kaufman, Maria, Joshua Cruson, Katina Bailey, Shawna McDaniels and Gina Joslin; her siblings, Daryle Laughlin (Louise) and Karen Gernaat (Laughlin); and her grandson Brandon.
The family's wish is, in leu of flowers, donations can be made to the Highland CRC mentoring program for the Marion Elementary School or the maintenance of the Marion elementary playground.
