She is survived by: her husband Harry Bates; her children, Anna Bates (James Pringle) of Marion, Harold Bates (Shannon Baker) of White Cloud, Catherine Hall (Dave) of Tekonsha and William Bates (Vickie) of Muskegon; her daughter-in-law Christine Bates; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephanie, Billy, MJ, Katelyn, DJ, Ryan, Alyshia, Kayla, Allie, CJ, Ashlynn, Hailey, Kailey, Nick and Liberty; and her siblings, Dick Porteous (Doreen) and Georgiana Hastings. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
