She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Lee and Sandra Kay Powell (Hilliker); her daughter Jennifer Rae Christie; and her siblings, Bambi Powell, Floyd Perria and Matthew Tower.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Christie (Angela) of Cadillac, Diana Christie of Warren, Daniel Christie of Marion, James Christie (Katrina) of McBain, Fleshia Brown (Kevin) of Cadillac and Steven Brown (Brittany) of Davison; her grandchildren, Neil, Henry, Leslie, Alana, Ashylnn, Adam Jr., Ailey, Dominic, Keegan, Eddie, Logan, James Jr., Gauge, Clionia, Noah and Kayden; and her former spouse Oral James "Jim" Christie, Jr. of Falmouth.
