“Fred and I shared Alexander Harrow, died 1811 and interest in the history of Cottrellville, Algonac, and southern St Clair County. Fred was avid in his desire to share what he had learned about our family. His membership in the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States (MOLLUS) was a small representation of the patriotic groups he could have joined. To be in MOLLUS you need an ancestor who was an officer in the Civil War. Family stories may have been lost in Fred’s passing.”
