He was predeceased by: his wife MaryAnn; his parents, John Jankowski and Josie Jankowski; and his brothers, John, Edward and Edwin.

He is survived by: his children, Edward, Connie Steiner, David and Brenda Kirby; his pet Malcolm; his sister Gerre Bular (Ron); and his in-laws, Alvin DeLand (Carol), Bonnie Mumford (Gary) and Mick DeLand. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
