Margery A. Osterland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margery A. Osterland of Marine City, Michigan, who passed away on October 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margery A. Osterland to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Markel and Betty Markel; and her siblings, Charlotte Markel, Joseph Markel, Gerald Markel and Dale Markel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Osterland, Carolyn Dupuie (James) and Michelle Cox (Jeffery); her grandchildren, Bryce Gordon (Kristin), Jenna Gordon (Jack), J. J. Dupuie (Micah), Troy Cox (Sydney) and Alexis Cox (Jake); her great grandchild Norah Jean Dupuie; her brother Charles Markel Jr. (Sandi); and her sister-in-law Darlene Markel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (4061 St Clair Hwy, East China, MI 48054). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (610 S Water St, Marine City, MI 48039).
Memorials are suggested to the Village of East Harbor, New Baltimore or Henry Ford Hospice.
