He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Theodore and Margaret Emery (Rivard); his wife Helen Wood; his son Robert; and his sisters, Shirly Bromley, Theresa Steffen, Betty Summerville, Rosemary Bier and Dorothy Ardion.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Emery (Joan) of East China and Richard Emery of Marine City; his grandchildren, Kayla (James) and Keith (Kate); his great grandchildren, Fletcher and Addison; and his caregiver Jean Landrum.
