He is survived by: his wife Patricia Nelson; his children, Christal Swenson (Joe) of Cottrellville, Dominic Nelson (Katherine) of Kalamazoo, James Raica of Warren, Vanessa Nelson of Whitby and Ontario; his grandchildren, D. J. (Amanda), Deven (Tim), Tyler, Michael, Katelyn, Lilly, Gianna, Kevin, Alyssa, Eliana, Vaya, Elsa and Adalyn; and his great grandchildren, Trayce, Gracyn, Layden, Bo, Greyson, Ella and Kinsleigh.
