He is survived by: his children, Joe DeHenau (Jeanne Marie) of Fort Gratiot, James "Jimmy" DeHenau (MaryAnn) of Marine City and Tracy Rose (Ken) of Marine City; his grandchildren, Carly DeHenau, Keith DeHenau (Jenna), Lindsay Luna (Luis, Jr.), Baily DeHenau, Kristy Steinmetz (Shawn), Jeanelle Hamilton (Kyle), Gina Panoff (Steve), Renay Griffor, Aaron Rose (Marisa) and Emily Delorose (Chase); his great grandchildren, Arden, Luis, Xavier, Evelette, David, Riley, Everly, Nolan, Stella, Cameron, Aspen, Leon and Leta; and his sister Janet Berger of Las Vegas. He is also survived by many brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Washington Life Center of Marine City.
