He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor DeHenau and Mary DeHenau (Vandekerkhove). He is survived by: his children, Joe DeHenau (Jeanne Marie) of Fort Gratiot, James "Jimmy" DeHenau (MaryAnn) of Marine City and Tracy Rose (Ken) of Marine City; his grandchildren, Carly DeHenau, Keith DeHenau (Jenna), Lindsay Luna (Luis, Jr.), Baily DeHenau, Kristy Steinmetz (Shawn), Jeanelle Hamilton (Kyle), Gina Panoff (Steve), Renay Griffor, Aaron Rose (Marisa) and Emily Delorose (Chase); his great grandchildren, Arden, Luis, Xavier, Evelette, David, Riley, Everly, Nolan, Stella, Cameron, Aspen, Leon and Leta; and his sister Janet Berger of Las Vegas. He is also survived by many brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial-Bower Rose Funeral Home (222 N Main St, Marine City, MI 48039). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Washington Life Center of Marine City.
