As John Anthony departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John Anthony. Though John Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Szymanek and Katherine "Gladys" Szymanek; and his close friend Gayle M. Hovsepian-Szymanek. He is survived by: his children, John Szymanek Jr. (Becky), Robert Szymanek, Andrew Potter (Szymanek), Monica Lynn Coffelt (Mark) and Alicia Orb; and his sister Rosemary Hartman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and close dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the River Parish (610 S Water St, Marine City, MI 48039). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
