He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Beattie; and his son Russ Beattie. He is survived by: his former wife Catherine Roberts; his children, Doug Beattie (Denise), Sandy Fritz (Bob), Karen O'Reilly and Barb Watson; and his grandchildren, Kim Robinson, Keith Beattie, Meghan O'Reilly, Robbie Watson, Nick, Jeremy and Josh Bieske. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
