It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Ben Chartier of Marine City, Michigan, born in East China, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Chartier and Evelyn Chartier (Stark); his sisters, Bonnie Chartier and Jane Ernst; and his nephew Kurt Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Koss of Macomb, Stacy Saari (Aaron) of Charlotte, Ben Chartier (Felecia) of East China and Kay-Lynn Chartier of Clinton Township; his grandchildren, Noah, Leni, Alyssa and Eli; his sister Carol Pogue; and his nieces and nephews, Sarita Dingman, Dwayne Pogue, Cindy McCollister, Kevin Griffin and Kelly Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Bluewater Area Humane Society.
