She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kersten and Flavia Kersten (Marcero); her grandchildren, Kristin and Kevin Gagnier; and her brother Frederick Kersten.
She is survived by: her children, James Gagnier (Jennifer), Karen Givens (Ted), Cynthia Irimescu (Tom) and Frederick Gagnier (Kendra); her husband Vincent; her granddaughters, Lisa DePaul (Tom), Michelle Givens, Sarah Goding (Jason) and Jodi Mousseau (Paul); and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Marcella, Sofia DePaul, Cole Zellers, Andrew and Athena Goding.
