She was predeceased by: her niece Kristi Watson (Dan); her siblings, Patricia Thornton and Don LaFleure (Mary); her husband Chuck; and her son David.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Malesky (Mike) and Susan Danneels (Eric); her grandsons, Jake and Jon Danneels; her son Ed Thurman (Becky); and her friend Caroline Sankuer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Our Lady on the River Food Pantry or Friends of the Marine City Library.
