He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer K. Swartz and Maxine Swartz (Kahler); his wife Sharon Swartz; his siblings, Roger Swartz, Carroll Swartz, Barbara Stephyn and Beverly Clark; and his siblings-in-law, Merideth Clark, Corky Rowe, Bill Summers, Dale Bowlby, Ann Swartz and Sharla Swartz.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Engle (Matt) of Orland, Shannon Pastorick of Marcellus, Michigan and Douglas Swartz of Marcellus; his grandchildren, Brandon Pastorick (Jen), Bo Pastorick, Seth Pastorick, Stephanie Fletter (Nate), Erin Weaver, Kurt Haneberg, Brandi Anderson and Courtney Wetzel; and his siblings, Keith Swartz, Bernadine Bowlby (Dale) of Marcellus, Beatrice Rowe of Three Rivers, Bonnie Summers of Three Rivers and Beth Harrell (Gus) of Marcellus. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
